BRAWN MIXERS USED IN MANUFACTURE OF MICROCHIP TECHNOLOGY, INC., INNOVATIVE SEMICONDUCTOR PRODUCTS
HOLLAND, MICHIGAN BRAWN MIXER, INC., has received an order for its BTD Series of heavy duty, fixed mount mixers from Microchip Technology, Inc., an Arizona based, global manufacturer of embedded and related semiconductor control products. The new BRAWN installation is located in the advanced waste neutralization facility at a Microchip manufacturing plant, in Gresham, Oregon. Jerry Fleishman, BRAWNs President noted that this order stemmed from his companys ability to meet specific customer needs. This included drywell construction for positive prevention of lubricant contamination to the process, along with all-helical gearboxes with horsepower ranges for individual mixers ranging from 3 - 7.5 HP. He added: Since Microchip is continually developing new products, they need manufacturing support equipment, which we can provide, that has the flexibility to accommodate continually changing process application needs.
